2. Chasing shadows

We all chase dreams. Some dreams are bigger then others. Some stay with you when you wake up, determining your mood for the entire day. And some dreams stay with you day and night. They are not the kind of dreams you dream when you sleep. Rather, they keep you awake at night. They take a hold of you and pull you along, and you will dream of nothing else anymore. Such are my dreams.

Others do not have this burden. For them, dreams are fleeting shadows that come and go in the night. They are quickly forgotten, whether they have been blissful dreams or haunting nightmares. In some cases though, you wake up to find that in the night, your dreamt fears have been brought to life. I think I prefer my dreams.
